Our Wedding

In the summer of 2013, Sara and her family attended a graduation party of a family friend. Shortly after arriving, they sat at one of the open tables outside where a young man happened to be seated by himself. Sara's dad struck up a friendly conversation with this nice young man through which the young man introduced himself as Chris. This led to Sara asking Chris to play some rounds of corn hole. After a fun-filled night and watching some fireworks, Chris sent Sara a Facebook request later that evening and the rest is history!

We advise that guests come dressed for the weather (midi dresses, dress pants, layers, etc) as the ceremony and dancing will be held outdoors during late fall. We kindly ask that there are no jeans worn (please and thank you!)

* Bags can be left at the front desk upon early arrival before check in. *Check-in is listed for 4:00pm on the website. For guests staying on Saturday night only, the Lodge does allow early check-in but an additional fee is required. *Above, we simply listed the earliest date guests would be checking in and the latest date guests would be checking out of the Lodge but we understand not everyone will be staying both nights. *To book, please call the Lodge Reservation Line at 1-800-282-7275 and book your desired room(s) under the Leach/Spizzichini room block, and use the Group Code listed above to receive the room block rate. The room rate listed starts at a room with 2 Queen beds. If you wish to upgrade your room or need a room with special accommodations, you will need to speak with the Lodge about this when booking (anticipating a potential upcharge.)

Please use the link listed above to book one of the available treehouses or cabins near the venue property if desired. These are one night stays (available only for the night of the wedding.) They range in price from $400 to $560 a night sleeping anywhere from 2 people to 12 people.

Mohican State Park is a 1,110-acre public recreation area located on the south shore of Pleasant Hill Lake and along the Clear Fork of the Mohican River south of Loudonville in Ashland County, Ohio, United States. It provides many fun outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, horseback riding, camping, mountain biking, etc!

Mohican-Memorial State Forest comprises 4,541 acres in Ashland County. Mohican-Memorial State Forest features 32 miles of hiking trails, 22 miles of bridle trails, 8 miles of snowmobile trails, a 24-mile mountain biking trail, 7 "Park and Pack" primitive campsites, the Memorial Forest Shrine, a fire tower, and the 1.5-mile Discovery Forest interpretive trail. The natural attributes of the Mohican area combined with state and nearby commercial facilities have made this region one of the more popular year-round attractions of the state.

Mohican Adventures is located in Loudonville and offers activities such as rafting, canoeing, kayaking, and tubing, often with packages including mini-golf or go-karts. There is also an Aerial Park with 6 courses to explore (they recommend the fall season as being the perfect time to experience this!)
